The Veggiecation Program will be a featured participant in the first annual A Taste of Life NYC fundraiser to benefit Alpha II Omega Youth Services

WHAT:

The Veggiecation Program will be a featured participant in the first annual A Taste of Life NYC fundraiser to benefit Alpha II Omega Youth Services, which creates and implements programs, ranging from health and sports to community awareness and public opinion, for students in elementary through high school. Lisa Suriano, founder and creator of the Veggiecation Program, will conduct a Fall Pumpkin Tasting for all participants, featuring seasonal dishes Pumpkin Chili and Butternut Squash Butter with wheat crackers. Parents will receive Veggiecation Nutrition At-Home Tips, and kids will be given Veggiecation Character Coloring Pages to take home.

 

A Taste of Life NYC events include healthy tastings by Veggiecation and local chefs, interactive youth presentation demonstrating importance of making healthy food choices, and performance by Ron Grant & Friends.

A Taste of Life NYC is open to the public. Tickets currently available are $37.50 per adult, $20.00 per senior and $20.00 per youth 18-years and younger. All tickets, except for high school students, must be purchased in advanced.
